It Takes A Village Canine Rescue

Happy Tails From Home!

We absolutely love to hear how our dogs are doing in their forever homes! Nothing makes us smile bigger than seeing the dogs we have cared for now happy and healthy in loving homes! The dogs below are just a few of the most recent updates we have received from adopters! If you'd like to have your heart warmed with more fun and happy tails, please feel free to visit our "Happy Tails From Home" album on Facebook by clicking HERE!

Mimi

Mimi is doing wonderful.  She has become a member of our family, and a permanent part of her forever home.  Mimi is potty trained and she is gaining weight (almost a pound in the past two weeks).  Her skin on her hind quarters is healthy and her fur is growing back nice and fluffy.  Mimi is our baby and she loves to snuggle.  Our other dogs have accepted her into the pack, and they know she may be tiny, but she is definitely mighty.  We are so appreciative to ITV for allowing us this opportunity and bringing more joy into our lives.

Thank you
Amy Julius and family

Princess

From her new family:

Thank you for letting us bring her into our home and family!  As you can see, Princess is enjoying car rides and all the kisses she can get.
Valentino

Mr. V  (that's what we call him!) Is doing great!   Every day he becomes a more confident pup and I think he is starting to realize that this is his forever home!   He's even started putting his paws up on the couch when we are up there which obviously makes this Mom's heart melt.   Attached is a pic of him he just got groomed this past Friday and all the groomers said he was the best boy.(sorry a little blurry)

This is the first dog my fiance and I have ever rescued and I tell you what I will always rescue from now on!

Thanks for doing what you guys do!

Mr. V's happy parents,

Kevin and Sara
Jack
From Jacks furever family...
Thank you so much for Jack!! He is one of the most docile & laid back dogs we have ever had.  All of our friends & family love him as well as their pets.  Thanks again!! We really appreciate the work you do!

Zoe

Trust me I have so many pictures its not even funny.  She is already spoiled rotten, and we love her to death.  Our other "daughter" and her are glued at the hips, as you can tell in the picture.  She is the perfect addition to our family!!! Thanks again.

Cricket (now Zeva)

Cricket (now Zeva) came from a litter of puppies that had been abandoned on Christmas Eve.  She broke her leg falling off the couch.  Zeva is now 32.2 pounds and loves life! And according to her mom Britta she is the best dog ever and no trouble. She babies her leg, but most of the time you would never know.

Kloe (now Lina)

Who says Bully breeds aren't sweet and adorable? Kloe (now Lina) would completely disagree! This American Bulldog mix fit into her home perfectly from day one, and in love with her best friend! She's thriving and growing up to be a wonderful, well rounded young lady who loves everybody she meets! Kloe was in shock to find out that her sister, Bella, is still looking for a home, and she thinks that everybody should help her find one so that Bella can have a best friend that's just as cute and fun as hers is!

Peri (now Harley)

Family pictures! What more can we ask for?! Peri (now Harley) is obviously right at home with her new family filled with plenty of people and animals to play with! We're told that she even gets to travel everywhere she's able to go! Peri is becoming the beautiful and well behaved young lady we always knew she would, and it absolutely thrills us to report that she is absolutely thriving in a family that adores her!

Sugar (now Sadie)

Who says happily every after doesn't exist for shelter dogs?? Miss Sugar (now Sadie) was at one of our PetSmart adoption events last September when she met Scott and Megan, and instantly melted their hearts! Sadie has adjusted well to her new home and absolutely LOVES being loved on! She can't wait to greet Megan and Scott at the door with a wagging tail and plenty of kisses to share! She is the perfect example of why we hold adoption events, and her story is the perfect example of why you should show up at our next one! You never know when your next best friend could be waiting for you!

Mackenzie

In order to send positive thoughts to all the dogs still waiting for a home, Mackenzie thought she'd pop in and say she's doing great! This little girl adores her new family and her newest best friend! She heard that there are all kinds of puppies waiting for a home with ITV right now, and she hopes they all find homes tomorrow at PetSmart! In Mackenzie's opinion, ITV puppies are the best rescue pets anybody could ask for! And that's straight from the puppy's mouth!

Sunshine

Sunshine (aka - Sunny) has come a long way since being picked up as an extremely matted and unkempt stray cocker spaniel who appeared like she had never been groomed in her entire 1 year life. Just look at those golden locks starting to grow! Sunshine adores her brother, Sammie, and we're told that walks are her favorite pastime! Well, favorite next to chasing the squirrels in the yard of course! Sunshine also gets plenty of attention from all the kids who want to love on her during her daily walks. Boy, what a life she has now!

AJAX/BUDDY

Ajax, who is now named Buddy, is playing in his forever home with his dad!
